Toot! Toot!

I won!  I won!  Yep - I won another TAC, The Angel Company, monthly contest that is held for demonstrators.  The theme for this contest was "Sweet Treats."  This project was so very much fun to make!  I constructed several triangular cake boxes out of our Miss Moxie paper collection, decorated them with images from our Halloween Stamp Sets, made a Spider to sit on the top of the cake, and then filled the boxes with a variety of treats.

You can find a couple more photos of this Sweet Treat creation by clicking here!  Now I just have to be patient to get our new fall supplement so I can go shopping for free stamps!

Be sure to check out the other contest winners this month too...  you'll find the whole list here.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers To You!

I colored my first copic Beer Mug !  Wonder how it "tastes?"  And this is how it looks on the birthday card:

I used the Cheers To You stamp set from The Angel Company along with the Hemingway Paper Collection.  Here's a closer look at the mug of beer itself...

Along with Copic Pens YR20, YR21, YR23, Y17, and 0, I also highlighted parts of the mug and beer with a Clear Glitter Pen to give the illusion of  an ice cold, frosty, drink - it's hard to see in the photo though!

I also found many beer related items on ETSY - the creativity is so marvelous!

You can peruse through the treasury in detail by clicking here!

Filled with mingled cream and amber I will drain that glass again.  Such hilarious visions clamber through the chambers of my brain -- queerest fancies come to life and fade away;  Who cares how time advances?  I am drinking ale today.

Any Thing But A Card Blog Hop

Here we go again....  It's time for another Paperwings Blog Hop!  The theme for September is anything but a card!  Below you'll see my project.  These tags can be used for luggage, for backpacks, for totes, for stamping/scrapping/sewing cases or for anything that you need an identifier of some kind!

The stamp set is The Angel Company's Winter Flurries and was colored with copics (of course)!  The plastic sleeves are baseball card holders with a key ring attached!

Please stop by these blogs too and see what the other participants made:

Delightfully Spooky!

I absolutely love the Delightfully Spooky stamp set from The Angel Company!  It is an awesome Halloween set with 5 images and 3 greetings!    For this card set, I also used the now retired Simply Spooky paper collection.  I am so thankful I had accumulated a few pads of this paper before it was retired.

All of the images were hand-colored with Copic Markers.  I'm really like using them and am learning a lot!  Practice!  Practice! Practice! is the key to using them.  Over the next two months I am taking 3 different classes on Copics.  The first one is at a local Scrapbooking Shop and the topic is skin and hair - can hardly wait!  Then, I was fortunate enough to get into a Copic Certification class - yippee!!  And finally, I am taking a two day class offered by The Angel Company for its demonstrators!! That will be so awesome!

Anyways, here's the results....

You can also see all of the  individual cards at RitasCreationsOnETSY!
